Kingdom of God

    Jerusalem

Passover starts tomorrow. This morning's New York Times reports on the debate in Israel over ways to observe it in our modern society.  There was no such discussion 20 centuries ago when Jesus came to Jerusalem for his last Passover.

This week we are engaged in a tour of the Holy Land for the heart.  Today we travel north along the Syrian border into the Golan Heights, where we will join Jesus and his disciples at a place called Caesarea Philippi.

This week we are taking a tour of the Holy Land for the heart.  Having just returned from nearly three weeks in Israel, it is my privilege to be your guide.  Yesterday we surveyed the Galilee from Mt. Arbel; today we make our way to Capernaum on the northern shore of the Sea of Galilee.

This week we are taking a tour of the Holy Land for the heart, traveling a world even more different from our own...our purpose is not historical or academic so much as it is spiritual.
