This Lenten season, you and I are under mandate from the God of the universe to share his love with the nations. And we will be judged for our obedience to this mandate when we stand before the judgment seat of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10). Our obedience is judged to be gold, silver, and precious stones. Our disobedience is considered wood, hay, and straw. Our obedience will receive reward. Our disobedience will be "burned up" and we will "suffer loss" (1 Corinthians 3:12-15).

We have only this day to choose obedience to his mandate to disciple all nations, sharing his love for all peoples with the world. Who will consider the claims of Christ because of you?
